The winners of the All NBA teams have come in:
All NBA First Team
- Giannis Antetokounmpo
- Luke Doncic
- Nicola Jokic
- Devin Booker
- Jayson Tatum
Some takeaways
Luka has made All NBA first team 3 times out of his first 4 seasons – see our first 4 year comparison between Luka, MJ and LeBron
It has been a great season for Celtics wing Jayson Tatum who is arguably top 10 in the league right now. We await the results of this post season to see if he can add some silverware to this incredible season.
Despite losing to the Celtics, Giannis is one of the best players in the league and proves it on a nightly basis. Giannis seems to be constantly evolving, adding shooting to his game in the past couple of years to make him a nightmare to defend.
All NBA Second Team
- Kevin Durant
- Stephen Curry
- DeMar DeRozan
- Joel Embiid
- Ja Morant
Some takeaways
A bit dissapointing for big man Joel Embiid not making the All NBA First Team despite coming runner up in MVP voting. Unfortunately it has always been the policy that the All NBA teams should have 1 center, 2 guards and 2 wings.
Great news for DeMar DeRozan who although struggled in the playoffs, had a fantastic regular season.
All NBA Third Team
- LeBron James
- Chris Paul
- Karl Anthony-Towns
- Pascal Saikam
- Tre Young
Some takeaways
LeBron taking home his 18th All NBA trophy despite being in the league for 19 years. Suprising he dropped to 3rd team averaging 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 56 games this season. Not all too surprising as the Lakers didn’t make the playoffs and had a historically bad season.
